Diablo requires an internet connection to work as some kind of DRM measure - error 37 is a server connection issue (servers are busy) and prevents you from playing.

You find the bear in the 'Dungeon of fluffy toys' and he's on level 3... be careful though, there are some particularly nasty my little ponies and the boss tickle me elmo took me a few goes to kill off

I really need that 10% extra bacon if I'm going to beat Diablo again on Inferno difficulty... love the image!

And Error 37 hasn't affected my gameplay since I didn't start playing Diablo 3 until last Friday. It's the high latency issue that's still plaguing everyone's gameplay that hits at around 2pm CST. I can handle the 200-300ms pings... but when I hit those random 1700ms ping times in the middle of a heavy battle, I recover just in time for the instant death of my character.

I never actually got error 27 myself... but I have had error 3003, servers shut down and yes, I know about that extra lag time too... its a great game, but boy, I wish it didn't have all those issues!!
