More starwars silliness. The original sketch was even sillier, with rollerskates, metal tin cans and a sign that read Pink Bantha Taxi service. Thank goodness for my levels of self control where I've only kept the 'classy' gags in there

Its the real Aloysius Snuffleupagus. He did a couple of scenes in the starwars movie early on in his acting career, before returning exclusively to TV. He's most famous for his work on Seasame Street, but did a couple of lesser known guest appearances on Law and Order, an uncredited role on a 2 and a half men episode and couple of episodes of the 1979 TV series "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century".

You're right, all that tin can Bantha taxi service stuff would have been too Lucas. Just the way he looks back at the original trilogy and says "These shots are too simple and easy to understand, let's rerelease them with lots of extra CGI crowding so that no one can tell whats going on!"
Sorry. I get on my soapbox about that sometimes. It is quite fun though.
I didn't know they had carrots in the Star Wars universe. All the more reason to check it out.
