Description This particular illustration has been sitting on my hard drive unfinished for the past year or so. Was rather unhappy about how it was going at the time and stopped. Finally got around to repainting and finishing it - not entirely satisfied with the end result, but there is still something appealing (at least to me!) about it. Pencil sketch on paper, painted in photoshop.

Glad you like sir! Posters are problematic on dA for me. To do posters properly I'd have to pay for a test print to make sure the colours are right, and, as the profit margins are really really low on them, it would cost me much more in proof prints than what I'd ever make back in actually selling them. (I did experiment with a few at one stage I've sold 1 print so far in 8 months or so - I didnt try a proof print on it and apparently the colours were a darker in places than the screen version.)

I agree, DA CAN be a lame way to go for prints, is there another way to buy prints from you then? Cause I have a couple I would be more then willing to purchase

okay i figured out the problem, its the swing, if she has completed the stroke her hands and arms should be opposite/ on the otherside of her body, the position she has now its a starting swing... maybe this is why "not entirely satisfied with end result" hope u dont mind the crit! you still are miles and miles and miles ahead of me!!

Dont mind the crit at all! You're right about the pose and it was one of the reasons I stopped working on it in the first place . Finished it off later coz I thought it still had a fresh fun feel.
