ContinuingΒ my own personal 'How fast is your spaceship?' scifi nerdiness series. This one, LEXX.Lexx was a show that was certainly out there but ever since I saw the first episode I wanted to paint Stanley Tweedle (4th class security guard, intergalactic loser and accidental captain of the LEXX) and now I have.
Pencil and ink, painted in Photosop.

Thanks! And I'm sure you are not alone. I only got to watch it coz I did some work for the DVD company that distributes LEXX in Australia and I got the box set as part of a 'thank you' package.

For some reason this is sort of Space Balls kooky hehe. And so another series im presented too that I've never heard of. Nor this Red Dwarf people are talking about, though I came across it in a blog I was reading a few days back.

Red Dwarf is very British... and LEXX makes sense when you realize its a Canadian/German production I guess too
Both are an aquired taste - though LEXX definitely more so.

Watched the first episode, reminded me of the low-budget sci-fi of my youth (Blake's 7, Dr. Who, Space 1999, Babylon 5, etc.).Β Will probably work my way through the rest over the Christmas break... it'll give me something to do while I work my way through two large bottles of Wray and Nephew's rum (or as I call it, Christmas Cheer!).

LEXX was a strange show. It made Farscape look like Friends (from a what is normal anyway perspective)
