Something a bit different... part of a poster I did for the Monster Fest film Festival screening in Melbourne later this month.Got made into posters and a 7 foot tall cardboard cutout, which is kind of cool!

you digital painting skills are AMAZING. the flesh bits on the lady look like they could be photo real what with all of the details in there. especially the back of the hand and the foot/ankle region. the tone and texture on the monster really tell what this guy WOULD feel like if he were real. you can tell by colour alone that his horns are hard and the skin is leathery.
the lighting and shadow, with a healthy dose of yellow ambient light add an excellent sense of depth. all of this really pops against the taupe backdrop with the subtle puff of grey smoke.
all of this hearkens perfectly to the classic monster films like Creature From the Black Lagoon, with a fun, modern-spoofy twist!

I'm liking the twist you've put on the Traditional Gender Roles seen in pulp horror covers. Turns it backwards and STILL wouldn't look even slightly out of place.
