Here we have the proof that da would censorize a genius like Leonardo da Vinci or Loopydave!

No matter how many jokes I see with this sketch still make me laugh!
I specially love his first expression, drawing him tending his hair makes him
even more funny.

Cheers, glad to amuse you

Illuminati's Fabio.
Renaissance's hot issue: Anatomical correctness.
You put a new spin on him.
2D or not 2D, that's the question.
OK I better stop before things get blown out of proportion.
Cheers, and nice work!

True... but do they have reverse writing on them ?

Spacegryphon In reply to Loopydave [2016-03-13 10:48:28 +0000 UTC]
They bear a letter that looks like an "R", which is actually the reversed Cyrillic character "Π―", for Leonardo Da Vinci in fact was Russian and his real name was Leonid Davinsky.

Indeed! My grandfather could read backwards and upside down . . . he was a type editor at a newspaper. The guy setting type would face the type the right way and my granddad would stand across from him and correct the spelling and grammar. Properly

The backwards text is brilliant, I wouldn't have thought to check it if someone else hadn't pointed it out first. Your stuff is always just plain fun to look at. Β
edit: aaand apparently you actually mention the backwards text in the description...forgive me, I just woke up 10 minutes ago. Β

Glad you had fun... I usually like to hide something somewhere in my art, kind of a reward to those who pay attention
Cheers!

Haha, nice idea, wonderfully executed!
Β Just... that backwards writing, was that really necessary? I mean, historical correctness, shmistorical shmorrectness... I makes me feel like I'm inside a mirror... and... and... if that other guy walks away, I'll cease to exist! RRRAHHH!!!
Β That hand with the comb has a certain Gotlib vibe... actually, now that I think about it, a lot of your images have.

If we've learned anything from the Original Series Star Trek, if you live in the mirror universe you need a goatee!
Glad you like... and you are not the first to draw a Gotlib connection. Had never heard of him until now - clearly I need to check out his work!
