Description
Panel from an 8 page comic book fable written by my best bud called 'Toby vs Armageddon'.
Concept and prose her.
Art me.
She's getting a bunch printed on nice stock for the upcoming Supernova Comic Con in Melbourne April 12th-13th, so if you are in the neighbourhood, swing on by the artist alley to the table with the loopydave banner, say hi and check it out!Β
She's planning to sell a few online too, so if it sounds like something you might be interested in, send her a note. She doesn't bite. Unless you ask her REALLY nicely
Pencil lines, painted in photoshop.

Great looking image Dave... love your sculpted piece LiL eL, it reminded me of the fun my friend and I had making gravestones, out of the same stuff..haha.
...it's obvious Toby just won the stare down... Armageddon blinked!
Cheers, and all the best at the Supernova Comic Con.
Cheers, Barry

Thanks Barry! Supernova was, well, super fun - might have to have an 'artists table' at a few more of them I think

Glad you are getting to the Melbourne SuperNova Comic Con! Β Artist Alley will be better for you being there. Can't be there, but post what you took to sell that didn't move. Β I'd settle for checking out the leftovers. Don't forget the business cards!!!!! (Not the ones with the picture of you on the back with Ms. Kitty McSpankenstein - - - trust me.)

Really?Β I have this 8 page concept for a comic called "Rodger vs. Ragnarok".Β I'm doubtful about, you know, getting the character designs and pallet done in time but I'll probably do a lot of clipping from magazines to fill out the pages.Β Popular Mechanics can be very Ragnarokian.Β Sorry, but I'll beΒ at the Supernova Comic Con on April 11th (if my credit card doesn't melt for the plane ticket) and I'll be stealing a bit of your friend's thunder...Β

I've heard that about Popular Mechanics - some strong eschatological discussions along with interesting advice on what you can do with that old lawn mower engine in your shed.
Oh, and my money is on Ragnarok - unless Rodger has a particularly effective plan for dealing withΒ JΓΆrmungandr, the snake wrapped around the world.

Lol! You can try!
Will love to meet you. I developed the concept in 2011, Drew some sketches and let it gather dust, until Dave offered to do the art! I'm so thrilled to see my idea realised to such an incredible standard. Plus, working on a project like this with my BFF was awesome
