Illustration for the upcoming "Dragon Song" book from SQP. Did three illustrations, but this was my favorite.You may recognize the baby dragon - [link] though he's not on fire in this version

She's also remarkably good at math, knows 4 languages and makes a lovely risooto but has an unfortunate habit of losing her car keys.

Thanks! It was one of those pictures I knew just how I wanted the lighting and colors to work even before I started on it, and I was mostly happy with the end result. Being your own worse critic is a good way to improve though!

Thanks mate! I had the 'palette' in my head even before I sketched it up - wanted the feel of one of those clear sunny days where the colours were saturated and bright.
