Once again dealing with the important scifi question... how fast is your spaceship? Number 7, the Event Horizon. Love the design of the ship, but you could never get me to fly on it

Thanks! I had planned out only 9 but have since added a few others. The basic criteria has been its something I've watched, can find a 'speed' reference and I think it will be fun to do.

Unfortunately 'Lost in Space' doesn't quite make the criteria... in that I have never seen it so unfortunately it won't appear in this series.

The Liberator from Blake's 7.
The TARDIS. (although if you do the TARDIS and it becomes known, you'll break the Internet ... ooh, if you put a kitten in the TARDIS then you would defo break the net. Imagine the trouble you'd get into. Criminal known as Loopy Dave breaks the Internet. Confined to naughty corner for the day. Crayons taken away because he kept drawing on the walls)
The Serenity as mentioned before.
Thunderbird 2 (or any, but I think the big green one suits your style the most)
The Jupiter 2 from Lost In Space (the original black and white one. They had their head on backward when they made the movie)
The Galactica from BSG
The Eagles from Space 1999
and on and on.

I really only have 3 criteria for choosing a ship. It has to be something I've watched, it needs some kind of spaceship speed information that I can 'gag' with and its something I can have fun with.
I have never seen Blake 7, Thunderbirds or Lost in Space, which obviously loses me a whole swag of geek points, but as I've mentioned, mine was a peculiar childhood, devoid of both TV and movies.

A childhood devoid of TV I expect is both a blessing and a curse. A chunk of pop-culture will be missing in the Loopy Cranium (TM) which one would never suspect considering your prodigious output that is generally full of Easter Eggs.
You do need to add "Danger Will Robinson" (Lost in Space) to your LC and flap your arms as you say it (famous utterance from Robot on the series)
"Thunderbirds are Go" (Was a Super Marionette show like Captain Scarlet)
And all I have of Blake 7 is Orac and Avon who were the starts of the show in most people's opinion (ORAC was a super computer in a perspex box and Avon was for Avon and no one else. Not makeup)
So the TARDIS top speed is tough because although it can motor around through space, I think the speed would be best mathed as infinite since it can travel in time. Since speed is distance divided by time, and time is measured as when you arrive minus when you left, the TARDIS can get to anywhere at the same time as it left anywhere else. Thus infinite.
And then which Doctor would you do? All pretty challenging I think.
Unless you drew inspiration from the ep with every Doctor all at the same point in space and time (which I won't reveal fully since it is a spoiler and it is inherently evil to spoil DW)...
But include K9 chasing the kitteh..ha.
