I was bored, so here's my lovely Al'yra again. I have something kind of important to say about this.

When I made Puriv'r I didn't give her the same powers as Starfire and Blackfire because they only got their starbolts through the Psion's experiments. Puriv'r never experienced that so her powers are those of a normal Tamaranian (flight, super strength). But after I'd finished and uploaded her design, I went back to some screenshots from Betrothed and only then did I realise that there actually weren't any blonde Tamaranian civilians as I originally thought. I almost changed her hair and eye colour because I was worried that she'd be considered a Mary Sue.

Then I made Al'yra and I gave her black hair and green eyes, common colours amongst Tamaranians (and I double checked this time!). But somehow it just seemed right that she has starbolts. I haven't drawn her with them before now because again, I was worried what people might think. But I spend every day of my life worrying about the opinions of others (it's in my nature, I'm a worrier) so I decided I don't care. She's only a fictional character right? And her having starbolts isn't hurting anyone. As for how/why she got her powers, well I'll think of something. I'm not feeling overly creative lately. But once I'm back on track and feeling less miserable I hope to come up with some decent ideas.

And just in case anyone is worried, I'm only unhappy because February is usually a bad month healthwise for my family and myself, but I also usually feel sad when Christmas and New Year end because there's nothing else enjoyable about Winter. Spring's just around the corner though.
