Hi I saw your speed painting video and brought it into my art history class. We have been having a debate about whether or not digital art is as legitimate as traditional art and I felt that this painting proved that it is. Thank you for making this picture, I really enjoy it

it's very nice and takes a definite skill and talent but in my opinion, nothing beats using physical paint and a physical brush and canvas. Congrats on your work.

I was honestly moved by your comment. I was a university art teacher for some time and I really appreciate the creative and open atmosphere that a class can create and to think my painting was a topic of discussion...phew wow, thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Check out my Youtube channel for my other speed paintings, my portrait of Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes was inspired by Rembrandt and uses a painting of his as a reference of color and tenebrism.
I actually consider speed painting videos as a new performance art form, one that I am currently focusing on and promoting. I would love to know what your students think about that. Thank you again for your feedback and kind words!
