Lopoddity, I'm really surprised we don't get much Lion King fanart from you.Β I searched your gallery, and it seems the last stuff you drew was 2011.Β I realized you must be a fan when I saw with this and realized how often you like to incorporate the mouth-carrying into your work.Β You did it with theΒ draconeqi, which makes sense, they've got feline parts and certainly have personalities to match.Β You did it with ponies, but fair enough, they don't have many other options for holding their kids.Β But it really clicked for me here, since Spike already has opposable digits and can goΒ bipedalΒ pretty easily.Β You've even imposed a lion's body structure and stance onto him here.Β So you're obviously a really big fan.Β Not that it bothers me somehow, it was pretty cool to learn that about you.Β I'm just wondering why you don't do more stuff with Griffons.Β Or even a Sphinx.

I was pretty into TLK when I was younger, and I drew content for it often. I just lost interest. :/ Spike's body structure isn't really related to my past TLK work, I just headcanon that most dragons eventually grow to a point where they're too heavy to walk with a bipedal gait, and shift into quadruped movement.
