Let's get one thing straight. This is not an attack on criticism. People are free to criticize my work, to give whatever feedback they wish, to love it, to hate it, to be apathetic to it, whatever they want to do. Criticism and feedback are valued and help me become a better artist and storyteller. Got that? Good.

What this is, is a response to the demographic that constantly, curiously, feels entitled to tell me how to tell my story and make my art, by catering specifically to their arbitrary demands. The people who spam essay length comments attacking my shipping art, who toss around casual homophobia and bigotry, who whine and bitch and complain that I'm drawing too much of X and not enough Y, and vice-versa. It's particularly noticeable in the MLP brony fandom, and if you all have been wondering why I've slowed down on the pony art lately, this is one of the reasons. Selfish entitled brony attitudes suck the fun out of making pony art.

I am not a machine that exists to entertain. I am a person with my own ideas and passions and quirks, and I will make the art that I want to make. You all are entirely, warmly welcome to suggest ideas of what you'd like me to draw, but you are not entitled to demand that I twist my creative vision to better fit your own.
