It is not surprise this would happen eventually, since we learned in the Micro-Comic about Fluttershy that she is obsessed with knitting.
So now, it will be harder for Discord to STOP knitting. Expect Ponyville to be covered with knitting works in a close future. After doing a sweater for Fluttershy and Celestia first.
Wonderful work. I'm sure we'll see more of them in season 5.... When? I don't know.....

Hands down my favorite MLP ship. Sorry Discolight, Fluttercord is just to adorably irresistible, both in canon and in fan-art.

I can clearly understand why is so popular. Discord have a nice guy attitude toward Fluttershy and she is his first and best friend at the same time. She also clearly enjoy his presence and jokes. Although i think he also have a lot in common with Twilight too. Intelligence and talent in magic. He could act as Twilight mentor. And that would also lead to romance. Lopoddity basically explore second option. The only shipping i cant understand is Dislestia. Still cant think of anything to make them work in tv show. Just too different to find common ground.

Oh no, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with her preferring Discolight. It's just that, at one point, I considered shipping those two together as well, but I ultimately decided that I personally prefer Fluttercord.
I mean, I ship Discolight in the Pandoraverse because of how fun, silly and unique she makes the Dracconequi x Pony relationship. But outside of her universe, Fluttercord is definitely my favorite MLP ship.
If I ever actually end up designing a Fluttercord foal like I really want to, I plan on taking notes from Lopoddity.
But I do agree with you about Dislestia. I don't really understand what makes it so well-known in the fandom. (Also, the shipping name sounds too much like a certain reading disorder...)
