1.) Pride is cancelled this year so i'm gonna hitch up my sleeves and make my own Pride dammit
it has been TOO DAMN LONG since i drew my GIRLS! Ahhhhh feels good man
Okay so these two queerdos are packing a whole rainbow of pride swag. Besides their respective pride colors, both wear the colors of the rainbow flag as a show of pride and solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community

Specifically, Cupcake is:
Demisexual: A part of the asexual umbrella, in which a person doesn't experience sexual attraction unless a very close emotional bond is formed, and sometimes not even then. Growing up, Cupcake never really "got" other fillies' fixation with gorgeous celebrities and the like. Since she never really felt stirrings toward anyone, she just assumed she was disinterested in sexuality of any sort. However, after many years of friendship with Pandora, as their feelings toward each other begin to change, Cupcake begins to develop attraction for her best friend, catching her entirely off-guard, what the heck Panny
Panromantic: This just means Cupcake is capable of romantic feelings toward any person, regardless of their gender. Although Pan's gender identity fluctuates, Cupcake's feelings for her/him/them do not.

Pandora is:
Pansexual: Pandora feels sexual attraction with little thought toward the other party's sex or gender identity. One time she fell in love with an especially colorful ball of yarn, and weeped most tragically upon discovering Fluttershy had knit him into a tasteful throw blanket. Pan is able to fall in love very easily, often latching onto the first pony to provide positive attention. In her quests not to drive away her various partners, Pan wildly overcompensates trying to be the perfect mate, sometimes even using experimental magic to achieve this. Unfortunately, it mostly ends up blowing up in her face.
Although Pan is occasionally anxious about screwing things up with Cupcake, her tiny minion assures her that all she wants is for Pan to be herself, with whatever chaos that entails.
Genderfluid: Pan's gender identity tends to vary. Female, male, neither, both, something else entirely. Much like her father Discord, Pan is a creature of chaos, and committing to one gender feels utterly bizarre and restrictive to her. Silly little ponies.

2.) human pan, why not

I've mentioned in the past that Pandora is genderfluid, but I don't think I've really done anything exploring it besides that time she created Chad, her male clone (Fun fact: Chad wasn't Pan's first attempt at cloning, she has Twilight's mad scientist streak and is pretty fixated on creating a 'flawless' version of herself)
Anyway, Pan is genderfluid. This means that her gender identity fluctuates a lot. Most of the time she feels female, but other times Pan feels male, or neither, or both, or any number of alternatives. Pandora's appearance is magically tied to her emotions, so her appearance often changes to reflect whatever gender she's vibing with at any given moment. However, this doesn't mean she immediately sprouts eyelashes for feminine days and pecs for manly months, it's a spectrum, and not beholden to any sort of rigid binary.
Pan has a special fondness for his own masculinity, he likes his rumbly deep voice and he loves having chest hair. He likes taking up space and feeling the strength of his limbs and blowing shit up. He likes flirting and flexing (especially in front of Cupcake), teasing Moondancer, hanging out with Chad, enjoying tea parties with those really tiny and adorable finger sandwiches, and sowing disharmony into the lives of mortals.
