Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! I'm gonna throw the whole world a party! You're all invited!it's generally not a good idea to let Cupcake (or Beefcake) consume too much sugar and/or caffeine
because the resulting sugar rush unlocks Cupcake's crazed, hyperactive Party Mode
During this hellish sugar rush she'll feel compelled to zip all around town with a manic, crazed urge to make friends, burst into song, and frantically decorate places and unsuspecting ponies with balloons, streamers, and confetti. It'll last roughly an hour until Cupcake eventually blacks out. She'll wake up groggy and with no memory of the sugar rush. This is why Cupcake is careful with her sweets consumption.

Pandora is trying very hard not to pee herself, such is her terror

Lopo, I have a very important question. Knowing Pinkie and Cheese Sandwiches personalities and occupations, Pinkie specifically working at Sugar Cube Corner with all those candies, Cupcake or Beefcake must have had an encounter with some sugary treat at some point in time, right? I'm just curious as to what a young Cupcake/Beefcake would look like during party mode as a filly/foal and how Pinkie and Cheese would react to it or how they'd deal with it.

Oh, no, Cupcake/Beefcake can eat sweets. They are bakers, after all. They just can't have too much. Cupcake would have no problem eating a cupcake, but if, say, Pan were to hand her a double chocolate-caramel espresso cappuccino car bomb...that's another story

Ahhh, that makes sense. But you know how kids are kinda more sensitive to sugar? Like if an adult were to eat a kingsized chocolate bar in one sitting, they'd probably be fine. But if a child were to do the same thing, they'd probably be bouncing off the walls, right? Or say it's the day after Nightmare Night and Beefcake eats half his stash. (As most kids usually eat at 1/3 of their haul as soon as they get home.) Like under staged circumstances where they do eat a lot of candy or consume a lot of sugar.
Because I can't tell you how many times I've seen little kids eat sugar cookies, ice cream, and chocolate, then either crash immediately or run around for an hour. Just wondered how that would work out for little Cupcake and Beefcake.

I keep painting a picture where Pan and Cupcake or their genderbent counterparts forgot to plan a birthday party for their ball of fluff, and in desperation Cup/Beefcake takes a bunch of sugar to put themselves in party mode to try to rush a party. Oh the humanity...
