Description
Commission for of her OC, a personification (ponyfication?) of the Tree of HarmonyOofah. The very last commission. Gorgeous character, but dang if it didn't take me like 8 drawings to figure out that hair. Harmony's color palette is very pretty and I was able to be a little more daring with my lighting/color theory and I normally am.
Very inspired by the Last Unicorn and Lisa Frank notebooks and other girly multicolored aesthetics, and also the pokemon Suicune when he runs on waterEDIT: I didn't design this character! That credit goes to

I find this character quite interesting, being honest. In my headcanon sheΒ΄s DiscordΒ΄s daughter with his brother Concord; god of order. DonΒ΄t ask how it happened; Discord is the god of chaos after all.

I usually don't much care about OCs because for me they have no background that I could feel attached to, but I really like the idea behind Harmony and also her design. (I immediately had to check and read the background story)

I've been SO EXCITED to see her in your style and you did not disappoint in the slightest. I'm so happy you took inspiration from the Last unicorn because it also helped partly inspire her design too. Haha sorry if her hair gave you a bit of trouble, but I think you tackled it quite nicely.Β
Oh boy oh boy I need to take a deep breath. I love every single aspect of this not even kidding. Her hair is SO GOSH DARN PRETTY OH MY GOD. every single person has a slightly different take on it and I love seeing what people come up with and this might be my favorite in interpretation to date not gonna lie. It's so full and flowy and just too beautiful and I LOVE the way you did her flowers in motion, that is such a nice detail! Her face is just so sweet and I adore the way you drew her eyes, it's one of my favorite parts of her design. THAT POSE, oh man that pose I am head over heals on how gorgeous she looks in motion and the little water puddle is a great touch, really ties the whole image together. Lastly THE CROWN, oh her crown looks sooooo good and shiny and fabulous and I'm gonna run out of things to praise you with because I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Also your shading is dynamite here, it works so well with her color palette and it looks like you had alot of fun playing around with lighting.

Agreed, Last Unicorn is really overlooked. The unicorn/Amalthea was surprisingly badass, facing down the Harpy AND the Red Bull like a champ. It's the kind of old movie that could really use a reboot
