style experiment, playing around with how i draw anthros. Leaning more toward animal proportions than human this timehey blueblood remember that time you and fleur de lis fooled around and made an oopsie baby

even though you happily agreed to fork over your parental rights if Fleur and her hubby Fancy Pants agreed to raise the baby and stay hush hush about the whole affair/illegitimate child thing cuz who wants to deal with that am i right
well even though Fleur and Fancy don't like you much these days they thought it'd be nice to have you meet your daughter anyway, they named her Vogue
she's tiny and fuzzy and....kind of cute actually hmm this is unexpected
and oh look, she's got your blue eyes, wow, so bright and beautiful
and goodness, poor thing got the hiccups when you bottle fed her, teeny soft little hiccups you have to strain your ears to hear
huh her little crooked smile makes you feel kind of warm and stupid inside

I still fail to see how Fancy Pants didn't scold Fleur more, since she herself could have said no and left. Yet all the blame is on Blueblood. Maybe I am not seeing it fully but that does tick me off.

Fancy and Fleur have had ups and downs in their relationship, and several short breaks, due to fights over Fancy being away on business often, and Fleur being insecure about feeling like a trophy wife.
During one of these breaks, Fleur was targeted by Prince Blueblood and gave into his advances, partly because she was missing Fancy quite badly. Fancy was hurt and furious over Fleur's betrayal (and even more so when Fleur came up pregnant by the Prince), but the two had a long, tense talk about their relationship and regrets (with Fleur expressing genuine remorse and weeping for forgiveness), and they came to forgive each other and make an effort to start over, as a better, more loving partnership. Vogue actually ended up helping their marriage, as they'd wanted foals for a long time, but Fancy couldn't sire any...Fancy adores Vogue, and Fleur is endlessly grateful that her husband was able to forgive her and love her again.

Awwww, poor Blue. Β Next time you draw anthro Blueblood, you should consider putting him in a full morning suit instead of the tux. Β Gives you a bit more variety in colors and shapes to play with, and is just as formal (if not more so).
