Description
A step by step of what I've done on Faustine, Bobobie bjd doll owned by Poupie .It was fun to do, even if it was a very long process...
What is BJD? Wikipedia link.
I do not sell nor own this doll.

Could you do it on a fairyland?

Yes.
Price depends greatly of difficulty, number of mods, BJD size (cheaper for smaller BJDs) and time. I can do it on any resin BJD but I don't want to work on recasts bjds (for personal reasons).
Be careful : once started, these mods cannot be cancelled. And once mods are finished, you cannot reverse the mods to the doll former state.

What would the price for these mods be?

This is perfect. TTmTT I want to be able to do work like this someday.... but... merghghgh how does one thicken body parts (i.e add muscles to a slim doll *wants to make a superhero type bjd eheh*) without making the color of the doll look dodgy? I mean, the resin has a single, uniform color (without body blushing) and I have no clue how to epoxy stuff...
May I please request your assistance with this matter? :3

Thank you :3
Unfortunately, modding by "removing" thickness is reaaaaally easier than "adding". To make a smooth mod, you have to heavily sand epoxy and modded parts to make them look smooth and blend them into resin. Epoxy (Apoxie Sculpt, Miliput, Tamiya) can be tainted with acrylics and you can paint modded parts, but it will show. Even if you add body blushing after (dry pastel chalk, acrylics, watercolors only + MSC or Tamiya sealant), you will be able to spot differences between resin color and painted epoxy, and also difference in texture.
Thickening limbs, face or torso may be a very very hard mod, because you need strong sculpting/modelling skills (modeling realistic bones and muscles is not so easy), and you may need to wrap entirely the parts in epoxy to better blend colors and texture (therefore you may have to modify ball jointed articulations, because bigger parts may not fit into thinner sockets).
I recommand you to find a bigger body that suit your needs (such as Iplehouse superhero, Idealian, or Dollshe David Kuncci) or a bigger one you can mod by "removing", "resculpting" instead of "adding".
I hope I helped a bit, good luck with your project!

These are some really fantastic mods. Bobobie bodies can be so bulky looking, and blockish. (if that makes sense...lol)
Your mods made her look much more feminine. Great job!!
