Description
A collaborative Transformer effort between and myself (his lovely line art, and my coloring job struggling to do it justice). I received this image for my birthday last year (Caliber316 and Ellievyle, thank you guys!) and have been meaning to color it. Woots for Soundwave love! He was the most awesome of all the decepticons. A fact that I've only fully realized and come to appriciate within the last few years, that is to differentiate from when I originally watched the show....and the rambling....anyway great job per usual. Keep it up.

Thanks for the compliment. I haven't been on DA much for quite a while now... I had pretty much put my artwork on the bottom of the priority list. In the little free time I have I have been trying to play through all of the Final Fantasy games (I have a weird obsession with them, but that's another story). The point is, seeing your colors applied to my line-art has lit a fire in me to do more Transformer art... I have quite a few characters I'd like to draw.
So hopefully you'll see some more lines from me in the near future... thanks for the inspiration

my god I'm happy to hear that. I kind of assumed you had become somewhat disenchanted with drawing recently (and heck, what artist doesn't have that happen to them). Transformers or not, you've got people who will take a look at whatever you create.
Videogames have a funny way of destroying my artistic urge too.

Yeah, between the lack of time, and my fragile little ego, I haven't been too motivated to draw recently. That FF addiction really didn't help either. I'm greatful to all of the friends I've made at DA who take the time to check out my work. Thanks again!

Heh, so many of the older episodes had Starscream attempt to backstab Megatron, only to wind up on his ass begging for forgiveness. Hilarious! And each time, Megatron would do something equivalent to bitchslapping Starscream, YET keep him aboard the Decepticons anyways. Maybe Megs is a softy afterall
Things just wouldn't be the same without Starscream's zany antics.

The glow of the chest, gun and eye are awesome, but I really like how you made it look metalic... I've said it before, you are GREAT at the lighting thing.

Yeah, me too! I was always kinda sad that they never gave him more of the spotlight. Though the latest TF comic pretty much revolved around him, which was a nice way to make up for his absence!
