Description
Fireblades are the most grizzled and seasoned Fire Warriors of their cadre, whose skill in the Fire Warrior's art of battle often leads them to eschew Battlesuit technology. They are excellent field leaders and their long experience has taught them exactly where to place shots to maximise damage, instilling each trooper with the efficiency that is the hallmark of thousands of years of martial teachings.

As before, this my Tau Commander OC, who has a rather long and absurd name (like most Tau) so is called Vior'la for short by some, due to that being his homeworld and the planet most often associated with him. His 'title', as most Tau take them on (such as say "Farsight", "Shadowsun", "Long-Knife", etc) is Commander Blade-Scar. (That big wound in his head should clue you in as to why)
He has a lengthy backstory to boot, but I can't really find a way to make it relatable for those not fammiliar with the lore yet. Once I've made a more reader-friendly version, I'll be sure to post it here.
This is one of my oldest OC's, even before Beyra and the more popular characters of mine appeared. As a result he kinda faded into the background, but the Tau codex update published close to a year ago now got me interested in this faction again, and thus this character. So expect to see more of this one in future.
I know the old version of this had more tattoos and facial details, which I sadly forgot to include here, but with how elaborate the armour was already, I wanted to keep this "simple", and not overcomplicate it. I might add them back in next time I draw him, might not, we'll see.
In case you were wondering, the tabletop game unit is called the Cadre Fireblade, and the colour scheme is the Vior'la Sept (4th edition version, not the newer one)
