I requested a picture of a Rockman Zero style Vile fromIt came out pretty awesome, so I asked if I could color. I colored it in is X3 colors... they were my personal favorite, and I couldn't figure out a good way to do his X1 colors.

Thanks. The drawing isn't mine, though. Unfortunately, I can't find his original line art on his page, otherwise I'd have you favorite that too.
I had a harder time with him in X3 than X1, just because he had a few more tricks and he was PARTIALLY optional at first, allowing them to force you into a tight room to fight against him and his fancy fire grenades.

Ineed the Vile retcon at MHX was a blessing it made him complex and likeable.
In the other games he is just liking boots, but in the Irregular Hunter sidestory you see his motives and you see that he is second to nobody

If they TRIED, it would be better than the monotanous drivel we've been handed lately with both Megaman and Zero games.

At least Vile/Vava has depth in that he's motivated by jealousy and delusions of granduer. I absolutely loved Maverick Hunter X for retconning the storyline of Megaman X to involve reploids going Maverick out of choice rather than a mind altering virus.

Yeah, but his X8 personality was pretty flat, aside from the fact they mentioned he was a former Hunter and... well... not much else.

Honestly I was surprised they picked X8 of all places to have him arbitrarily revived... seeing as how that's an entire five games after he said he'd get revenge on X.
And yeah, his personality was just as flat as it was in X. Lapdogs don't have personalities really. Which is why Maverick Hunter X is so much better, because he's going AGAINST Sigma most of the time.

Definately the high point of his career.
To be honest, I never really was sure if he'd return. Then again, his final words were that he would haunt X til the day he died. XD
