When I hear "Get down" my first reponse is to hit the dirt more than once ive avoided unwanted projectiles that way.

the only time i don't drop immedately is when i know there is something unpleasent beneth me in which case i would not drop striaght down. I would roll to a side and hope who/whatever threw the projectile didn't anticipate the move.
