Gurthrath always has plans within plans so no telling what he has in mind, but he is taunting Sonic for a reason, and he will get the results he wants, what ever they may be.

Well, Dark Master is a demon... god... thing... similar to Gurthrath. And the Immortal Titan is from a race, which was once at war with the gods themselves (and ALMOST won). They're both from Spellcross, btw.
