Description This is for
Tito`ku his character, and Rex building a “D” series power core.  Maybe its a D6-9, but what ever it is, it must be a custom size or they are doing it just for fun.  But what would they use it for?  Well for those of you that don't know,  “D” series is for large industrial machines or construction vehicles.  probably could run a bulldozer for a few days with that one, pending how well they build it.

I'm sure Tito`ku knows more about what he is doing, since Rex is still in High school, and all though he is good at mechanics, he is not completely savy on it.  Also look how neat and clean that shop is.  Tito`ku must clean his shop after every project.

Well I hope you all enjoy this, it took me a while to complete.  And Bond spent alot of time cleaning the line art, must have spent weeks on it.

What would happen if a D69 were installed into a hoverquad?  That's excluding the power-dampening and such.

What do you mean by a hoverquad?  like a car?  Well if it was not modified you probably burn out alot of the components sense they would get current and heat that they are not designed for.  It may but the vehicle into an overdrive for a breaf moment before blowing out multiple components, causing an antigravity failure and plow its front end into the ground, and possibly flip forward.  It would take a long time to get the thing running again.

To answer your question, hoverquads are much like the ATV quads we use today, except augmented like the cars in your headcannon.  In fact, I brainstormed a few models while I was taking a shower very recently. XDD  One model on my mind is a QXQ model; it has eight "units" that function as one---like an 8x8 drivetrain.  The QXQ can be modified for either economic or recreational purposes; bigger units can be installed to handle more power, as well as different frame sizes to house the powercell and electronic/fuel/cooling tech.  There are smaller models as well as alternate builds for the Q-Q lineup, but they're not as common due to improper use of the vehicles.

Instead of a D series power core, they could use a diesel engine or even solar power.

I see Tito's using a Lincoln Electric Gas Metal Arc Welder - which in fact are red, and the green tank behind the table is OxyAcetylene with a cutting torch. Yes, I have seen and used both.

 Those little details.

They don't have diesel.  Actually they don't have much of combustible powered devises at all.

Strange that the arc welder devise I made up resembles a real one.  But its actually powered differently.

Heh! Nice job establishing the scene. They're quite busy at work indeed.

Reminds me of Workshop class back in high school.

I especially like the details of not just the girls on the wall, but the different art style you used for the painting on the wall.
Granted I thought it was a window at first, but then it clicked and I went "Oh! It's a painting!" XD

Cool work as usual Kiyo!

Ahh... I remember I burned my hand with a repair tool. I love this, its pretty cool seeing Tito and Rex working on...well it looks nitrogen powered drill or something, sadly I can't tell what it is, but good job

Lord-Kiyo In reply to EdwardKenway34 [2015-04-01 22:15:53 +0000 UTC]

what made you think about a nitrogen drill?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

EdwardKenway34 In reply to Lord-Kiyo [2015-04-01 22:25:26 +0000 UTC]

Well the nitrogen tank on the table ( or a least I think it is) was connected to what tito was putting together with the repair tool and that I posted the comment before I read the description

Lord-Kiyo In reply to EdwardKenway34 [2015-04-01 23:53:32 +0000 UTC]

actually that green tank is not even on the table it's behind the table, you can see that if you look closely.  Also he is useing an arch welder, its connected to that red welding machine.
