PMGA is a group dedicated to the use of the program "Pimp My Gun", and thus only things made in it are allowed.

In case you've never checked it out.

Naw, the advanced stuff you don't need to know, most people skip them. I on the other hand make sure every weapon I design has a 90% working interior before I finish it. But that's because I plan on weapons design as a career some day
Otherwise all you need to know is the receiver, barrel, handguard, pistol grip, mag, stock. Bonus points for optics of some kind. Extra points get added for fire selectors, mag releases, charging handles.
For someone new the first set is all you really need. But when you've been at it for over a year like me, well not having absolutely everything is really bad xD Especially considering I do the internals.

Well I can't do the GL, it's just not happening, I have no feeling for it xD
But, the model has all the basics so it's all good
I don't know what you're capeable of in that program, but a LOT of edges need smoothing so they aren't so sharp. And the scope could use a block in the middle so it isn't just a solid tube. The trigger guard could be bigger, not a whole lot of room for your finger in it (height wise). The pistol grip could be wider too (front to back, not side to side) and the placement of the charging handle and mag release are rather far back. Mag releases are normally near the mag. And charging handles are normally in one of three places. 1: Right side of weapon-infront of ejection port. 2: Right side of weapon-right behind ejection port. or 3: Left side of weapon, on the handguard (way forward of the ejection port, up where your left hand will actually be.)
The point of the charging handle placement is for speed and comfort, the less the shooter has to move his hand to manipulate the rifle, the better.
Too much?

sounds good to me actually. the only problem i'll have is smoothing the edges, as Sketchup lacks the abillity to do so(sadly. there might be a plugin, but i dunno where to look). i will folow some of the advices tho, so thanks for the feedback

Ah, it's Sketchup, yea that would be really hard if not impossible.
No problem though, I'm great at feedback

hehe. i'll be keeping the clip release and the charcging handle on the same side tho, but more placed forward. the release on the same section as the clip, and the charger just behind the ejection port.
