Description
If I can get a properly scanned version with equal quality, I will be sure to do that. My current scanner gets everything too bright and doesn't cover lighter details or text. The second iteration of the Hakkorian and AHE Remnant Unchained class Transatmospheric Superiority Fighters, the MK II mostly just took advantage of new technologies and innovations as well as combat data to make the ship smaller and faster without any loss of firepower, while cutting down resource costs compared to the larger MK I. Due to the smaller nature of the craft, many Hakkorian and Dominion Remnant troopers cannot fit inside the craft, and so instead of cramming in the space of a cockpit, the planners of the craft opted instead to allow pilots to be able to control the craft remotely using neuroconnective control interfaces, allowing them to carry out maneuvers which would liquefy living pilots from a secure facility away from the main front or a sufficiently-protected area, like a capital ship with ample point defense and escort. For the ship itself, the Tac-servitor usually has autonomous control over its fighter body, and can execute maneuvers far too damgerous for living pilots. Due to the autonomous nature, the ship has no need for a life-support system or cockpit or support equipment hold for consumables and medicine. This means it can further be smaller and lighter without sacrificing firepower or shields. The MK II also has a refined gravitic manipulation suite to allow it more CQC ability, restraining power, and transport capability. Other than that, the craft is functionally-identical to the larger and pilotable MK I.
There is a MK III in development, and it will obviously be designed to be faster and even thinner while somehow keeping the firepower and accuracy eeqyal if not better to what is already available.
"Goddamn death triangles got an upgrade!! We weren't prepared for this! Secure that loot like the Gods themselves are counting on it!!" -Last transmission from the infamous pirate warlord "Sharkwind" Sandrenos.
"The Mark 2 offers enhanced features across the board, in a cute little package only 60% the size and 25% the cost! Now has never been a better time to ally with the Hakkorian Empire!" -Imperial Grand Propagandist Mehrite Tevalos
"There is only one Hakkorian faction crazy and influential enough to get these built: the tyrant Black Wolf and his Bloodfallen Armada! We must warn the Dark Council immediately befo…" -Unknown Dark Alchemist commander, shortly before an Unchained fighter phase-rammed into his comms bunker.
"They do give off an air of nastiness, yes. But in my mind, it's a small price to pay for the safety of the people here from slavers, raiders and pirates!" -Kurmoli Republic Colonial governor Iris Oltin
"The barbarity and inelegance of Humanity never ceases, does it? And now they have begun to reclaim their ancient Arsenal of terror from the Old Wars, as this overarmed glorified bludgeon perfectly symbolizes. We must develop countermeasures to these kinds of things effective immediately before they get out of hand and Humanity overcomes us, the last true inheritors of the Mantle!" -Promethean Strategios Anvil of the Unsullied Path

Indeed it is! Future versions would be even thinner and sleeker, no doubt.

I could just imagine these things just emerging from slipspace and zooming at full speed into a ship to rip holes through said ship, if of course they had thick enough hulls and doing so wouldn't destroy them in the process

The AI is smart enough to know what and what not to drill into, though thousands of things of this mass impacting at lightspeed... unless the target has some kind of anomalous cosmic power or stupidly-strong armor and shields, it's going to end up peppered or vaporized soon. Plus, I imagined the Hakkorians carrying over the style if AHE ships where they had those sloped wide prows with vertical "D" shaped frontal sections that would be ideal for ramming things. They could even fire point-blank like injecting the target with 4-million degree plasma or antimatter to soften it up before the shielded prow rams into it.

Yeah, I think "death triangle" is a pretty reasonable summary of this vessel. I like it.

Thanks!I wanted to convey something sharp and sleek which could cut through targets both with weapons and physically.

Don't worry, I will. It's just that currently, my printer scans things kind of wonky, where it's like 6x as bright and none of the lighter-strokes and text comes out.
