Another commission for Ironswift Tales, this time showing a group of mighty Taiyusha multi-purpose warships high over their homeland, delivering their versatile might wherever they're needed. These vessels were designed to perform various tasks on the frontline, besides giving long-range fire support with their main armament, including the capability to land on the ground to unload their load, which ranges from troops, vehicles and cargo, as well as the capability to serve as a naval vessel.Higher resolution and more images available here:

This reminds me of a game called "Leviathans" and where the developers could have gone with it if they had continued forward with that timeline and developed the game further.
Still have the original game though. Yeah, it was a hundred bucks, but the miniatures were worth it.

The game's been out since 2012.Β And it had a lot of promise, but the company, Catalyst, kept having to divert their money and attention to protect themselves from the continuous lawsuits whenever Harmony Gold decided to sue them over their main moneymaker (Battletech/Mechwarrior).Β Β
On a side note, I'll be really happy when Harmony Gold loses their rights to the various anime products in the next year.Β No more Robotech infringement lawsuits to worry about.

Looks really fantastic, makes me want to see more about that world, take a deeper look so to say. First i thought those are ascending spaceships but they arent, are they?
Also i wonder how loud or silent they are? Just like airships.. huge but silent or are they really noisy?
