The Karron Empire: Chapter II
During his rule, Assawa was nothing but a quiet, unimportant world, but upon his demise, all attention was once more placed there, as the old emperor was put to rest and excitement fueled the question of who would follow.
Many realms were eager for their time in power, after they have grown rapidly, as the empire slowly succumbed to its fractured state, gaining influence wherever possible, in a hope of being the ones to rule for the next century. The nobility gathered by the thousands, all knowing, that no successor could be chosen, that wouldn't upset billions. All knew that the days of fragile order were coming to an end, as all sides were silently arming, whilst the galactic east was already crumbling from invaders and civil war, whilst all eyes were on an ancient holy temple, that was once the place where peace was brokered, but would now see it come to a tragic end.
