Demon God - Citoria[cy-tor-ee-a]
I am often asked what is the difference between Demon Candy and Demon Candy: Parallel. The answer is him. Demon Candy Parallel is a parallel universe with all of the same characters and conditions, but as if Citoria never existed. With him removed from the story things go very differently. Hence Demon Candy: Parallel.
The Legend of the Demon God
Long ago there was an angel cast out of Heaven,
Betrayed by his creator and the one he loved…
Filled with hatred he transformed himself into a monster,
To wreak havoc on the kingdoms below…
No one could stop him.
Both Heaven and Hell fell before his seemingly unlimited power…
In a last effort both Light and Darkness sealed him away,
Casting him out of existence for all of time…
But before they could seal him, he shed a single fragment of his dark soul.
Lost and hidden in the world of man…
This shard of his power would allow anyone who claimed it to obtain his godly powers.
Thus it is sought after by the shadows,
And feared by the light…
This soul, millions of years later became known as…
The Demon Candy.
The short version is that Jonathan shares his soul with Citoria in the original Demon Candy. So while Citoria is Jonathan's source of power, Jonathan is Citoria's key to escape.
It has been a while since I've drawn him in full form, and his first time in full color. Enjoy!

I like how his wings are upside down. It gives the picture a subtle 'wrongness' that you'd expect of such a powerful demon.

Thanks! It also give his form a different proportion, as the tips and wider part of the wing are near his upper body, unlike a typical angelic silhouette.

Consider that Lucifer required Gods interference to seal Citoria away. Lucifer is the King of Hell, Citoria is a Demon God.
