Because I was the only kid on the block without a reference sheet |D
This image is at 60% of the working size. I started it on January 3rd and was all, "Oh, I'll finish this in no time!" It took me a WEEK. Can you believe it?
Wing's got a pretty serious story, so I tried to balance it out with some humor tossed into her info. Did I mention that she has a sweet tooth? Let me know if you have questions or caught anything else interesting in here too--It was a bit of work condensing her backstory into a couple paragraphs without losing the feel I wanted for it.

now i wonder how she got only one wing....she tear off the other?how did a kitsune get a real wing?how did she survive poison?did she not drink the drink?was she a cluts and dropped it on accident before taking a drink?OH nice reference sheet btw lol

It indeed is a European (two-handed, double-edged) broadsword, the kind you'd see a medieval knight with.

Yep pretty much. I am wondering if it has a broad taper (soft metal to prevent bending damage) Leave shapped (kinda like 2 oblong shapes, best for slashing because the sharpness holds) Ridged (Painful) Concave (blood channel or grooved) or if it's just parralel made (Easiest to make).......
Sidenote, I took a few blacksmithing classes

Well it looks like it's parallel, but looking at it flat drawn it's down the same way as grooved. Anywho it's still epic

Wing is a very unique character! I like how you added the storybook aspect to her reference. It's a neat means of telling her backstory. Nice work on this piece and awesome anatomy regarding wing.
