Wow dude. Your work is definitely getting more intricate and finely detailed..like its starting to really have a dimension of its own! Every one you post seems more and more solid. If you don't already paint in person, I think you might like oils or gouche because you can push the colors around. I'd love to see what you could come up with in traditional media if you ever feel inclined to play around with it

This was just awesome coming home and reading this.
I want to feel like my experiences and visions expand the more I
dip back into the dream states and psychedelic states of mind. Lately,
I haven't been painting as much as I'd like to, but have you taken a
peek at my traditional art gallery? I've painted with gouaches and
-sometimes- watercolor, but I should get back on the traditional art
wheel again. Thanks so much for your words squeak. <3 I like when
we as artists can empower each other and multiply the energy.

i really like it, got a cool eerie atmosphere. i love all the patterns and the swirly textures.
the limited palette works great, the blue against black is really striking!

Thank you so very much. I put many days into this piece.

You really think so? Sometimes when I restrict the palette it comes out strikingly different and seemingly more powerful.

Your comment made my day reading it, no joke. :> This was great.

good to hear, you're welcome!
yeah, sometimes simple colour palettes can be the most effective. ^^

in response to the limited palette- I totally think it makes you push your limits more when given a certain type of restriction because the possibility of getting overwhelmed with options isn't really there, but it makes you stray from a usual way of going about doing something..lol like if someone told me I had to paint something but couldn't use purple, pink or green I'd have to pick my brain a little and end up with something other than my usual. I agree that this color scheme definitely intensifies the feel and depth, the variety of blues gives it a glow effect against the solid black

I'm tellin ya!! :3 Back when I started my digital art and was
fussing and bussing about choosing my medium and program,
I became infatuated with smudging after seeing another artist's
work, showing me the capabilities a simple tool could create with
the right eyes, hands and mind. But the point is the limitations;
clicking with a mouse, choosing direction, mixing color and movement
together to make the illusion of movement. Limited resources has
given us a history of amazing art and media, like the NES... Super nintendo,
gameboy games and their simple chip tunes for music... all the old computer
art and even centuries-old paintings (Even though those people had a better
idea traditionally than most of us now)

But I feel the same way, It overwhelms me when I have a rainbow of paints/colors
I want to use and my gut gives me little direction to go at first. So i'll sometimes cage
myself and my palette, and suddenly, it's like, "Ah.. alright, let's try working with these."
A few hours, or days later you can be looking at quite a beast before you. Your
traditional art is really otherworldly, missy. Wish we could do a collab one day on
some medium. I really have immense respect and mystery about the mind behind
your creations.

Thank you so much. I never usually stick with just blues but i'm very glad I did. It really saps my iris when I stare at it at first until they fixate on the hues.

Took me quite a while too. Your comment's appreciated :>
