The whole series by Paul W. Anderson is an insult to the original game to me. That's the only thing that guy can do with every game he touches, anyway...
The two CG movies of Resident Evil, Degeneration and Damnation, are way better than these.

I do think the people the chose for Wesker, Jill, and Claire were perfect choices. And I as a dan of RE enjoy everything RE even if it is' "an insult to the original game". But yeah, I liked the animated ones better. I NEED A JAKE AND SHERRY CG MOVIE!!

Paul Anderson only cares about making money, so chosing the most popular characters of the games was, indeed, a good idea of his...
But his movies are horrible. Both story-wise and production-wise. Not only Resident Evil ones. He turned several good games into horrible movies...
CG movies of Resident Evil, on the other end, were made by a passionate crew and under supervision of Capcom. They are the most close as possible to the games storyline. Motosada Mori, military advisor on the game series Metal Gear Solid, even helped the director to make movies with gunfights as realistic as possible.

Damnation in my opinion triumphed over Degeneration. I want to see Jake and Sherry brought to life in a CG movie. Also maybe make a film where the reason Rebecca hasn't been heard from since 1 is because she went missing and Billy is looking for her.. Weave Jake running off on his own with Billy and make it where they both help each other to get what they want.
