Biology: Fenrir is the “Howl of the Northern Blizzard” and for good reason. This mighty and gigantic canine is a powerful and ferocious titan when it chooses to. The canine’s fur is a specially adapted to survive the harshest of cold environments. The spines on Fenrir are an unusual feature seen on canines, but further analysis shows they are in fact pieces of bone with some traces of glacial ice. These features on Fenrir’s body may help it produce the icy beam it can spew. This power is unexplainable and is the reason why Fenrir is in the classification of Mythos titan.
Also is known to incase itself in ice to travel from place to place, which is causing a lot of interest in iceberg related accidents in history for such as the Titanic. Even though Fenrir is related to the wolf, titanologists also see a hint of something else in this creature’s DNA. This hint is seen also in Bacorok and dubbed the “Howling Gene”. This Howling Gene is also found in almost every Mythos classed titan, making titanologists believe that this gene is the reason for these titan’s size, intelligence, and powers.
History: Fenrir is first mentioned in history in the lost Viking tale where it is in fact the lord of the Northern realm. It was summoned to battle the force of Bacorok and the fight ended in a draw as Fenrir went into hibernation in the Snæfellsjökull glacier of Iceland.
When Mount Erebus erupted after Dahu and Arassa went their separate ways and Bacorok was unknownling traveling towards England, the glacier in which Fenrir was hibernating broke off into the sea. It was considered to be just an iceberg then, but that’s when it washed ashore in Scotland. By the time it was reported to local officials, something left the iceberg’s core. The officials document very large canine-like tracks leaving the site and heading south.
When Bacorok started its invasion on London something was sighted several miles away from the city in the cover a freak blizzard. At midnight, fire and ice clashed as Bacorok and Fenrir battled like they did thousands of years ago. Fenrir, still weak from its hibernation was defeated by the mighty Bacorok and retreated south towards the English Channel where it moved on towards Central Europe.
After its discovery, Fenrir traveled towards Russia and eventually made it to the Americas by the time of the Exodus, where it resides near the Great Lakes. Fenrir was one of the few Titans that fought against the Extraterrestrials. Fenrir then was captured and relocated to the Titan Isles till the End of Judgement.
Personality: Fenrir’s personality, unlike his more dangerous cousin Bacorok, is somewhat of a peaceful Titan. Even though its intelligence is basic for a mythos titan, it has a huge spirit and usually will fight till the end when it has to. Fenrir’s usually keeps itself in seclusions, but after Exodus he and Bacorok became an interesting tag-team duo. Fenrir’s main enemies are the mutations Ivy Rose and Platypus and the three have been known to be in some very intense melee battles. Fenrir’s views on humanity are more peaceful and usually stay out of their way.
Powers/Abilities:
*Able to encase itself in ice for travel of oceans or to heal itself
*Spines are its source of power
*Able to unleash a blizzard from its mouth
*Fur can withstand extreme cold
*Extreme muscle mass makes it able to defend against most conventional weapons.
*Basic intelligence but big spirit
Weakness: Has a somewhat weakness against fire, especially the on its undersides.
