A quick sketch of Raph. I did this a while back. From time to time I like to re-imagine my favorite characters.With the turtles the idea would be to focus on visually showing off little bits of their individual personality while keeping them some what uniformed(they are shinobi you know).
So with this in mind,Raph is the abrasive one of the bunch. I made him look like the wandering fighter. Hand wraps,frayed edges on his bandana and knicks and scratches all ove showing that he likes to scrap.

Facial expressions(and anatomy) are super important with characters like the Turtles.

Heh, he was always my favorite. In retrospect, he's kind of a jerk, but still badass! Nice job on the shading and highlights, and the handwraps are fabulous!

Most times the jerk get's the most attention. Old comic cliche' I guess(look at Bats',Wolvie',Cloud). But, I'm glad ya' like!
