The Ghostbusters costumers at Dragon*Con had the same idea! The Ecto-One they had in the parade was based off the Magnum.

there you go...I'd seen the ones going to dragon con, so i was inspired to do a faux car advertisement from dodge. I really think if they used this type of marketing it may help sales.

Unfortunately the one posted above did not make it to Dragon*Con. Engine trouble in Ohio (It was coming from Colorado) The owner also made the Ecto-Subaru. It'll be there at Dragon*Con in 2010.

Often imitated, never duplicated. This is a sweet pic, but lets face it, for all the sweet modernized Ectomobiles that can be made, nothing can ever fully replace the original.
well done though.
I plan on making mine from a Suburban, as cool as it will look, it just won't be the same...
