Oh, I loved the Orbots when I was a kid! Mecha-style robots + weird 80's Americana.

One of the best Mecha Anime/Toon ever in the '80s.
Oh yeah. There's one trivia on this series: Mighty Orbots was inspired from the Super Robot Anime Six God Combination God Mars (Rokushin Gattai God Mars). And both series were owned bt TMS Entertainment, the one who animated the famous CLAMP series Magic Knight Rayearth.
Well both series were cool. Orbots is a lighter version of GodMars and was enjoyed by kids in the '80's. Too bad it got cancelled.

Holy shit! I totally missed this one. Its awesome.
Love the blockyness, perspective and the overall drama. Very DVD-cover worthy. The Earth feels a bit unnescesary kindof. Maybe if it whas sharper and placed differently?
Anyway, that's just a nitpick. It kicks arse. Keep it up.

Man that's cool, will have to look up the name and see if they have any videos or DVD's out of those. Don't think I remember this one, yet I was born in 77 so it may have canceled before I was into stuff like that.

Actually, it's offically based on GodMars since the series is owned by the same company in Japan.
