The construction of the coffee table is interesting as the joinery used puts the stress points on the sides of the legs rather than on top, whislt the edge boards suggest that the main top piece is veneer rather than solid wood... Upon closer examination of the surface the wood grain pattern does point to an artificiality associated with cheaply made furniture massed produced for economy office supply stores. What else in the pic... Hey!
