Description
Okay. I am fascinated with Cryptids. I acknowledge both sides of every arguement. We are all allowed our own beliefs and if everyone took on that mantra, the world would change.So....
These three are beings I may or may not have had contact with. I was raised in Glasgow, KY. I livedin Louisville, KY and Bowling Green, KY. An hour from Nashville, TN.
We have our own share of cryptids. Most famous is probably the Pope Lick Monster. I have my own version of him too, he's not finished at this point.
Here we have Caterpillar Man.
He was born from a conversation I had with one of my closest pals, a beautiful soul. We decided there was a Caterpillar Man that haunted the Kentucky landscape form Bowling Green to Louisville. Maybe he haunts Elizabethtown, which is the midpoint between the two cities.
Okay, that one was just for fun...
The pigtailed little skeletal girl is based on my grandparents' old house. I grew up visiting my grandparents in a giant two story house with a full garage and pond and another house on the property and a barn. Years later after they had to move out and buy a small house, the story of hauntings came up. My family is extremely religious, so this wasn't anything we'd ever talked about. My mom got quiet, my two aunts started crying and my grandmother told me about a little girl that died, possibly in this house. The swing in the front yard swung on its own without ANY wind or earthquakes to influence it. I witnessed this myself. I had many uneasy experiences in this house, but never, ever chalked it up to ANYthing supernatural until my early twenties. Hearing your Christian conservative family discuss a supernatural event is quite jarring and almost enough to convince me.
Anyhow, she is based on the little ghost who might have lived there.
The third on the right is the cryptid based on the only ghost I've ever seen. I say this, fully recognizing the need for a grain of salt. I was asleep in 2001. Granted I drank a ton and partied frequently with my roomies during this period. But one single solitary night, I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a short young child-like ghost dressed in clothing from older periods in our history. I covered my head and that's the last I remember. I convinced myself it was a dream, but just in case, I went ahead and added him to my own personal mythology.

The one which looks like a caterpillar is my favorite. I wonder if it could be a baby Mothman.

A peek behind the curtain of the "real world" of the Wormm! I have visited those parts (mostly just passing thru) and can totally believe it's haunted all over.

Mwahahaha! I bet we would all lose our minds if we spent a day with each of our DA chums. My worst fear is the ones who might decide they dislike each other.
Yes, the entire state is haunted.
Just kidding, I'm pretty open minded about everything but still need proof.

Dude, you grew up in Glascow?!! I used to live up in Lexington and now I'm in Danville! Kentucky Life, bro!!!
Joking and revelations aside, I like these. The caterpillar man looks like something out of Courage the Cowardly Dog which was basically a tamer version of something like Superjail or Rick and Morty really. The two ghosts look very well done and the story about the boy in particular is pretty unsettling; I am unsure about the Supernatural myself (I want to believe but I also need concrete evidence to really believe something) but a story like that would definitely make me question it. These are some pretty cool designs and the stories behind them range from amusing to disturbing.

Hahhahaha! KY life!! That could mean more than one thing, I suppose!
I loves me some Courage!!!! Once it hit Netflix I re-devoured it!! (Love Superjail and R&M also, obvi).
Thanks for the compliment, friend. I'm not 100% sold on anything in life. I am open to almost ALL theories about life. Almost.

Don't know if you're still in KY but if you aren't, do you remember Ale81? Good ol' Kentucky Swapwater as I've heard it called? Sounds disgusting but it is one hell of a drink.
Such a good show! Nice mix of disturbing but comedic.
I honestly consider Rick & Morty to be a spiritual successor to Superjail! Similar styles, somewhat similar styles of comedy and tones and equally bizarre and off-the-wall plots and characters. I honestly look at Mr. Poopy Butthole and can't help but to see and hear Jared for some reason. Love those shows and can't wait for R&M to come back on.
No problem, man. If people can show me evidence and logic for their argument, I am willing to believe most anything.

I do know the Ale, not a fan, though that's not saying much, I hate Mt. Dew also, which puts me in the minority already.

It was always something that was rare to get growing up (we weren't in the best place financially), so I always looked forward to it and enjoyed it as a kid and still have feelings of nostalgia and happiness when I get it today. TBH,I don't like pop in general; it tends to be too sugary tasting for me and always leaves me more thirsty than when I drank it. The only ones I actually like are Diet Coke and Sprite.

Yeah, Sprite I dig, only with vodka though. To be fair, I haven't had Ale8 since 1999 probably.
