Description
My new work inspired by the song "Colourblind" by Thomas Gold (ft. Kate Elsworth). I used a pencil, a black colouredpencil and watercolours. What do you think?

The contrast between the graytone lips and chin and the color splatters is visually pleasing. But for me, I feel like the song has more sharp edges than this picture, which is very smooth, organic and curved. How did you come up with the composition?

What you said about the song, that it has sharp edges, I think you are right. I don't really know how I came up to that idea. I started with the lips, just wanted to try something realistic. And this final picture (the different colours, splashing over somebody's eyes) crossed my mind because I was listening to the song the whole time and one part of the lyrics ("Fade to grey it colourblind") was the part which inspired me the most.
