Description happy birthday MustafaSEZER

partial eclipse taken at my house  at full superzoom handheld on aug 21, the filter i used to take this with is from here www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D… which is a really really good filter so large that i could actually shoot and look through the filter at the same time...

enjoy

Yeah I know there are two coming up: one in 2023 and in 2024. The 2023 one is annular which someone was trying to argue with me is totally different from a solar eclipse but they're an idiot because it's pretty much the same thing except the moon is at the far point of orbit so you see more of the sun behind it. I think I'm going to go to Arizona for that one because it's supposed to be visible there. I'd rather bet my money on a place that has 299 sunny days per year.

lol wouldnt it be something you find a decent spot and all of a sudden you got some bad weather...i am glad i didnt go to georgia though i got some pretty good shots here at home...that sounds cool arizona...i wish i could go there someday..that and the grand canyon..

Would you drive or fly? I ask because I was surprised by how cheaply I was able to get a ticket for when I go with my boyfriend in February to see his family, but then again I don't need a hotel room. Though I guess if you drive you have the option of sleeping in your car, too.

I want to see the Grand Canyon, too. I never really cared that much about it being one of those things everyone has to see, but then I saw the northern end of it from a plane one time and that somewhat changed my mind. But it's on the other side of the state from where my boyfriend's family lives, so getting there would be difficult. It really helps when both you and the people you're visiting live right near major airports.

Yeah I know! I didn't realize it takes 9 hours to drive to the middle of Kentucky from where I live. My boyfriend went to a wedding there. I stayed home because I didn't really want to go on a road trip that far. lol
