bird that had flew into our window, this one wasnt hurt that bad and flew off after a few minutes, didnt have a box handy so we put it in a bowl. kinda have to check to see which ones live and which ones dont there are times when a few do survive.canon sd990is

Aww such a beauty. I'm so glad he's okay! Maybe hang something in the window so they can better tell not to fly into it....I hope you yourselves don't have to put them 'down', the ones who are in a bad way. I don't know if I could do that.

havent had to put any of them down they survive or some just go like that ...one of the hardest ones i had to try to help was a hummer they have to feed ever so often so i had to hold up a thing of nector up to its beak after 5 min it flew off but it sure looked at me strange hahahhahahahha

Yes, they do have to feed often. I think I heard somewhere they have to eat their weight each day just to survive. I'm sure you saved it's life.
