i really shouldn't..... but i'm joining another rp group ^^ free time is ever decreasing O_______OSo i found Grimm chronicles a day before the deadline (that's now been extended ...YAAAAY) and since i'm a sucker for childhood-ness and fairytales
so.....Info and app business:
1) Flying. pretty self-explanitory, Aerick can fly due to being raised by faeries and being taught by them how to fly.
2) Swordfighting - There are several human groups living in Eterna who Aerick seems to get in fights with most of the time, one group of pirates in particular seems bent on Aerick's destruction, and jumps at any chance to attack him. In addittion, Aerick seems to like playing with weapons in general, nevermind as a defensive measure, so this skill was gained naturally.
3) Storytelling - Aerick's main tool in bringing children to Eterna. He has a natural ability to capture audiences with stories of his adventures, making it easy to tempt children to follow him to Eterna. The practice of telling stories also makes him very skillful at lying and imitating other people.
4) Aerick has a skill in playing the flute, simply through practice, as when he's not away in the human realm he has no company and gets really bored, so plays reed flutes and, his favourite, pan pipes.
He is obsessed with staying a child and forever having fun, Which is why his main goal is finishing his story so he can become a keeper and never grow up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aerick was born a human on the world below Eterna, but when he was an infant, he was stolen by one of the female rulers of Eterna who became attached to him and decided to raise him. she named him Aerick Pipanthorn (Aerick meaning Eternal Ruler, and Pipanthorn after the name of a Magical plant).
Years passed and Aerick gained the ability to fly, but when he returned home to his human family he found them happy with a new child and left, convinced they had forgotten him.
When he looked around 7 (it is difficult to tell his real age) he got into a fight with the captain of a pirate ship and cut off his hand, causing the captain to view Aerick as his arch nemesis from then onward.
When Aerick was 8, the, then almost diminished, Faery royalty decided to give him a job to do, to keep him out of the increasing amount of trouble he was getting into, so he was given the title of Reaper (though did not know what exactly would happen to the children he took) and was given a faery companion called Ixia (or Ixy). Aerick never took his role seriously and often visited the human world just for fun to meet children and tell stories, without taking them to Eterna at all.
After a few months the Faery Reign ended with the death of the Queen (Aerick's guardian) and the remaining Faeries scattered. There are now only a few left but they have become reclusive and shy, a shadow of what they once were, and Aerick was left as the only real magical presence in Eterna. He immediately went to the human world after the "Scattering", and found a group of orphan boys one by one who had each fallen out of their prams. Aerick took the boys to Eterna and called them simply "the lost boys".
Years later the humans began to notice the increasing amount of disappearing children and the presence of a mysterious being the adults called "Pan". Parents were urged by others to listen for their children talking of this magic flying boy, and to keep them locked inside at night should that happen, for fear that he'd steal them away.
When Aerick was 15 he found a house belonging to a young girl and her two brothers, who he immediately took a liking to as they already knew his stories and told them often. The girl's name was Emily. She refered to him "Pip" like most of the other human children as their parents forbade them to talk about a boy called "Pan". However when she discovered his real name was Aerick she switched to using that instead. Emily also had a natural talent for Storytelling, but in a different way from Aerick. While he was flashy and acted out his heroic adventures to impress people, she was quieter and kept people's attention in a way he could not recognise. She even had the ability to stop them crying or send them to sleep at night, which Aerick could never do.
He offered to take them to Eterna which they accepted, though Emily took more persuasion than her brothers as she was concerned about leaving her parents. Aerick used Ixia's "dust" to give them a temporary ability to fly so that they could reach Eterna easily. When they arrived in Eterna however, they were immediately attacked by the Pirates, Who Aerick managed to distract long enough for Emily and her brothers to escape. However during the conflict, the pirate Captain, who was just as sly and cunning as Aerick was Naive, told Aerick that the girl called Emily was the key to the Faeries revival. He explained that the witch in the dark woods to the north had prophecised her arrival, and that if Aerick wished to revive the Faery race, it was in his best interest to keep Emily with him and never let her return to the human world. Aerick, overjoyed with the idea of the Faeries returning, decided to do as the captain said.
And so Aerick, Ixy, Emily, the lost boys and Emily's brothers all set out to search Eterna for the witch and learn how Emily could revive the Faeries. Aerick has a strange feeling that this isn't the path he's supposed to follow.... but he can fly right? maybe he doesn't need a path....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ixy remains the only Faery who makes a regular appearance to humans and other inhabitants of Eterna, as despite her loss of power she still stayed with Aerick. This could possibly be why she is closer to the original power of the Faeries than the others, as Aerick may be having some sort of effect on her, though that could just be coincidence. Ixy, like other faeries, has the ability to pass on her power of flight to others for a short period of time through giving them "dust" which naturally forms around her. Other powers she has are the ability to manipulate light to an extent and some very basic magical abilites, which she can use in the form of small spells.
It is a known fact that fearies have a tendency to act impulsively. While they are not malicious beings, they are so small they only have room for one emotion at a time, so sometimes they seem to be so. Ixy's most common emotion is jealousy or possessiveness, especially over Aerick, which he doesn't seem to notice. She is devoted to Aerick and always stays by his side, unless he orders her away.
- When i say "when Aerick was 15..." i mean when Aerick looked 15, but i said it like that because saying "when he looked 15" all the time seemed weird...
- While Aerick's age is difficult to determine, he isn't immortal. Being raised by Faeries seems to have had an effect on his development. Since faeries are immortal, their effect could possibly be slowing down Aerick's ageing slightly or making it fluctuate. When Aerick appeared around 3, he stayed that way for longer than a human would, but then suddenly jumped to appearing around 5, so it is more likely that his age is fluctuating. currently he has appeared 15 or 16 for around a year and a half, although he has physically lived for 18 years.
- Faeries are traditionally named after plants or trees that possibly reflect their personality. Ixia is named after the Ixia plant - a large bright pink flower which often grows near magical plants. The Pipanthorn plant that Aerick was named after, is a magical, semi-evergreen plant, with bright orange-red flowers. However it has layers of almost invisible thorns under its leaves.
- Just to clarify Aerick's reasoning for keeping Emily..... he doesn't really have any. He knows not to trust the Captain, but he likes Emily and wants to keep her, so he probably thinks it's like hitting two birds with one stone (which he can do by the way and likes to brag about).
- Again just to clarify, the Faeries haven't been present for years, and Aerick was only a real Reaper when they were in power so after they left he had no reason to continue his duty. However he effectively did continue, even though it was for his own selfish reason of being lonely and wanting others for company.
- In Eterna, there are other human or partly human groups, although they are mostly composed of adults. These include Mermaids, Indians, and of course Pirates. There are also groups of small magical creatures other than the Faeries, for example gnomes and some witches, and large groups of beasts that also appear in the human world, from tigers, wolves and bears, to rabbits, squirels and mice. Aerick and the boys like to collect things from encounters with these other inhabitants, for example Aerick owns a feather head-dress given to him by the indians which he likes to wear sometimes, and the boys own several animals skins. All of the Pirates share a hatred for Aerick, and the daughter of the Indian chief is known to have a crush on him.
OK..... this is blatantly a rip-off of the original..... but I hope this is different enough to be accepted, Peter Pan was basically my childhood so it felt weird changing so much of it xD
Gawd i write too much
and just ignore his dodgy arms and obvious anatomy problems ^^)b
*is so excited about this group* YAY! CHILDHOOD!!
Aerick and Ixy belong to me (but are of course based on the characters of Peter Pan which belongs to J.M Barrie)
The app design and Grimm Chronicles belong to their respective creators.

What anatomy problems? I honestly don't see anything wrong with the anatomy side of things.
Fffffff he is awesome. I wish I had the patience to actually read, I mainly skim. And I must say, I am VERY impressed with your ability to write down almost everything in the description, I normally say something witty and put a smile next to it.

I think your shading has improved, which is impossible for me to wrap my mind around seeing as how it was awesome before. You just can never stop impressing me.
