Description

Gondolin(Hidden Rock). The hidden city of the Noldor on the northern section of Beleriand, shielded from enemies and out of sight by the surrounding mountains and eagles on the watch. Fingolfin's younger son, Turgon, took up the kingship of the city, and this is where his daughter Idril and the man Tuor wed and reside. It stood as one of the last remaining elven realms to survive the First Age, being garrisoned by 10,000 of the mightiest warrior from the 12 Houses of the Gondolindrim, until treachery and pride brought this final elven realm in the region to ruin through war, ending the capability of the high elves to resist Morgoth.
