I'm really happy with the close up gem reference! Just, you know, don't look at it for too long or else you'll see the flaws. Or maybe thats just me.Attack
Due to her weapon being a shield and being prone to defend rather than attack, the best Beryl can do is a shield bash.
Defense
Her defense techniques are top notch,from her shield to her innate dodging abilities.
Strength
Shes pretty strong and can lift boulders to build makeshift fortifications.
Speed
While not the fastest gem, she has trained herself to react quickly in situations to be able to reach her ward to protect them.
Durability
She can take...a lot of hits. Especially with when she has her shield. If she can't get her shield for whatever reason, she can use her own body as a gem-shield.
Intelligence
Shes not...she is not a bright gem.Yeah....
Special
No special abilities. Though if you ask her, she'll say her Shield Toss is her special ability.

Origin: Beryl was created towards the end of the Earth Rebellion to help defend the more important gems against the rebels.
History: Bery remembers very little about Earth. It was very boring. She mostly stood around with her shield. What she does remember clearly was the chaos that struck suddenly and the hordes of gems running everywhere. She was confused and had lost her ward, which was a big No No. Panicing, Beryl randomly ran into the first ship she saw. The Retribution. While everyone else was talking a 'corruption?', Beryl attempted to find her ward. She didn't find her. This made Beryl very nervous. She had lost her ward, the Diamonds were gonna shatter her ohnoooo,no,thisisbadohno-This was when another gem asked her if was loyal to the Diamonds. Thinking quick (For her), she said no! And thats how she became a part of the Synthetic Court
Personality: She is very nice and loves chatting with people! But...shes not very bright. She is very loyal and loves her ward no matter what! They must be protected at all costs! She tends to feel lost if she doesn't have a ward.

What a cute character~!! I like how she ended up on Kiron purely by chance,
it's a cute spin for a character that might not be the most observant. Although,
I'm sure very few gems were prepared for what they saw once they escaped Earth...
Does Beryl have any idea what she might have become if she hadn't happened to
stumble onto the Retribution??

Okay! Here we go!
Beryl herself still barely understands what happened on Earth. Something about a corruption and lost gems, but thats about it. She doesn't really care anyway.
I, on the other hand, believe she would become a large,hulking golem like creature that haunts/protects the last place she remembers seeing her ward, even if Corrupted Beryl herself doesn't understand why she goes to this place and can't leave. At least, not for long.
