Kyaaah~ Why does that adorable monkey puppet remind me of my darling Luffy~?

I want that cute toy for my collection! :3

Hahaha you can obviously tell that these four ladies really want to get their mitts on this hand puppet. Nope! It's already taken because it belongs to AOT's very own fiery Titan shifter, Eren Jaeger! Why does it belong to him? Well, let's just say that our tall jellybean received this very puppet toy as a gift when he was first born into the world.

So without any further ado, here Is a short story on how Eren received this lovely monkey hand puppet when he was a newborn. Enjoy ^^

-Monkey Pal-

After immediately being booked into a hospital room when she suddenly came into labor earlier during the morning, a light tanned woman with dark hair tied sat in her hospital bed, meticulously stitched in the last stitches for a puppet that was in the form of a monkey. The small toy possessed a round head that was as brown as milk chocolate, with its body being the same color, its face & stomach were a snowy white color that felt as soft as a freshly sewn quilt, a bright green bowtie also sat in the middle of its neck in order to give it a spiffy appearance, the arms were also chocolate brown while its hands were pure white & similar to Mickey Mouse's gloved hands only smaller, it also possessed a pair of white ears that were shaped like cinnamon rolls, & finally a small tail swished behind the puppet as the young woman carefully stitched in the last stitch before she proudly declared her creation complete.

Once her work was ready she happily held it up, smiled a smile filled with immense satisfactory then she said to herself, "I did it! After three long months of sewing, I have finally created the special gift for my newborn son ^^" Feeling very proud & pleased with herself the woman placed the monkey puppet on the nearby rolling hospital table that idly sat by her bed then she looked up to see a tall female nurse dressed in a light pink scrub coming in, holding a small sky blue bundle close in her arms. A loud cry was also heard as the nurse giggled as she told the woman, "Your newborn son is very excited to meet you, miss. Congratulations ^^" Then handed her the crying bundle while the crying became a bit louder now. After the tall nurse was thanked she quietly left the room, leaving the new mother with her bundle of joy.

Tears the size of pearls cascaded down her slightly reddened cheeks because intense feelings of immense joy, happiness & motherly love filled her very being as she held her newborn son close to her bosom in a loving manner that any mother would do for their children. Soft sobs escaped from her trembling lips. "I....I-I'm so happy that my newborn son is healthy.." More tears fall from the woman's face until she was slightly startled by the sound of the hospital door opening. A man with short hair, light tanned skin & dressed n surgeon clothes came in wiping his hands with hand sanitizer. He also sported a loving smile as he waltzed over to the sobbing lady in the bed,

"How is our son, Carla?" He gently kisses his wife's sweat drenched head. "Is he healthy?" The lady who was addressed as Carla looked up at the man with a trembling smile full of happiness said between sniffles, "J....Ja. Our newborn son is healthy dear" The new parents then look down at the sky blue bundle to see a baby with pink chubby cheeks, delicate strands of dark hair covering his round face & he also wore a dark blue knitted hat on top of his noggin as he slept peacefully.

Feeling very happy to have such a beautiful newborn son that was also as fit as a fiddle, the couple quickly share a loving kiss then Carla brings out the monkey puppet as she gently placed to her baby's chubby coral colored cheek, causing him to slowly awaken from his slumber; Soon the German woman & her husband became quite speechless as the newborn fully opened his eyes to reveal a pair of bright emerald green orbs that shined immensely like a cluster of jewels!

As soon as the baby felt the monkey hand puppet carefully pressed against his soft cheek, he nuzzled it in a manner similar to a kitten then he let out a very soft mew, meaning that he liked the little gift very much.

From that day on Eren kept that adorable monkey puppet close to him as the trinket served its purpose to be the boy's lifelong companion who made him laugh, smile & stay by his side like a loyal dog would do for their owner. But still, even if the German boy grew bigger & older like a normal child, he never forgot & abandoned his dear puppet companion because no matter what it would remain by his side & possess a very special place etched deep inside his heart.
