Description
As his ninth labour Hercules had to retrieve Hippolyta's gridle, which was given to her by her father Ares, the god of war.
There are different versions of this labour: some say that Hercules had to kill Hippolyta in order to take the gridle, while some say that she simply gave it to him as a reward for how much he had travelled.
I decided to stick with the last version but, as always, I decided to add a funny side to make the illustration more interesting.
As the second version said Hippolyta is giving her gridle to Hercules, but since she has a weakness for heroes she decided to do a little "trade"! Though Hercules doesn't seem too happy about it. xD
(Also: this is the first labour that doesn't feature any animal!)
I hope you'll enjoy this labour as much as the others, and I really appreciate your feedback for my series!
I've put the Watermark because I want to mantain the exclusive right on this artwork. If I get the chance, I'd really like to publish it and the other 11 in a book.

Well demn! She puts the 'hip' in Hippolyta, like an actual hippo in size of a physique, heh heh. Heracles may as well reach for the belt because lip contact for the hilarity.

It's interesting how you gave a different take on Hippolyta. I imagined her as a slender but strong young warrior goddess. Yours is funnier and fresher!

Yeah I wanted to take another route with her, the usual beautiful goddess-like kickass woman didn't tingle my inspiration.
