Description
Narga was staying away from the town - it had been too noisy there for his taste as of late, and it seemed particularly busy with who-knows-what going on, so he definitely wanted to stick to the more rural side of the forest. During one of his nightly patrols, he happened to pass a particular coatala, shrouded in shadow, its gleaming blue eyes being what alerted him to its presence. The two shared a look, and Narga could just make out the coati's brown-ish fur before it bolted, seemingly spooked by his being there. Oh well - he never ate them, anyway. Those sorts of creatures had the knowing looks in their eyes that said they were at least a little cognizant of their own lives, too.

Or, alternatively: Narga runs into Ms. Mittens on Warptide night while he tries to stay away from the loud festivities and Ms. Mittens is already pretty spooked from the Gill incident, so she doesn't stick around for long.
