They were on a 'field trip' to the Goober Ranch when Moon was called away for their medicine, and a folk approached Jun, asking if they were lonely without their little friend, since they were left sitting all on their own. Jun could only roll their eyes at the taunts. Finally, they said, "Are you done?"

This enraged the other kit, but Jun just kept brushing them off with flippant comments, not really caring what she thought of them. And this was a way to kill time while they waited for Moon to come back.

It seemed their conversation attracted the attention of another nearby kit on the trip, though. Ears perking up, young Tiramisu felt like he was hearing an old friend when he picked up Jun's voice. His face lit up as he rushed over and pushed Oleander away without a second thought, unfazed by her scathing, offended remarks and Jun's disbelieving gaze, like he was an alien or something. He just started chattering about how Jun was Lumina and he would recognize that voice anywhere, even if it was a little different. Oleander huffed after a moment and walked away when she realized that she was being decidedly ignored.

Jun's pelt prickled uneasily, but their voice was flat as they denied: "I don't know who Lumina is."

"Then what's your name?" he said insistently, pressing the matter. "Mine's Tiramisu, but everybody calls me Terry. I'm your biggest fan!"

"My name is Jun. Not... Lumina," Jun repeated, gaze narrowing. They needed this kit to shut up about this. It was like they were trying to broadcast this conversation to the entire ranch, and Jun didn't want anyone overhearing.

"Ooookay," Terry said, winking at Jun. "Suuuure. But can I ask you more when it's just the two of us? I know it must be tough, running such a cool show, so of course you wouldn't want anyone to-"

Jun's tail discreetly smacked him on the back of the head. "Shut. Up. And we can talk about this. Later."

They had a feeling they would come to regret that promise. Terry was still there when Moon returned after their medicine, dragging them into a conversation on the different types of goobers and which ones were their favorites. They deeefinitely had the notion that they'd gotten themself a fan who was going to be very hard to shake.
