Sometimes it just got a little overwhelming, and he would slip outside or wait for nightfall and then do so, and he would lay on a hill within sight of the Nook that gave him a perfect view of the stars.

At least he could listen to their far-away whispers and imagine he had them for company.

Yanay's a bit upset, even though no one around him would know it, since he doesn't really emote like most wynglings. He finds interacting with others... difficult. He's too blunt, and the things he says can come off as more than a bit rude, even bully-esque. To top it all off, that other wyngling he hung around sometimes was nowhere to be found, so now....

He doesn't have any friends, and he has no idea what he's doing wrong. He knows he's not great at communication, at least, but no one (with good manners) bothers to hang out around him for more time than they need to, and he's never been told exactly what about the way he talks bothers everyone. But after he gets in a good cry and goes through the motions, he'll go back to the Nook and try again tomorrow, maybe.
